Come work with people who care! Protégé seeks a motivated Pastry cook to join our brigade and assist in Pastry production. The position requires morning availability with a flexible start time (typically between 6:00-8:00 AM) and shift length adjusted based on production needs and the candidate's schedule. We are a Michelin-starred, upscale-casual restaurant located in Palo Alto. This role involves working alongside our pastry chef Dhali Cruz to produce an ambitious assortment of desserts for our seasonally driven a la carte dessert trolley, ice cream program and 7-course tasting menu. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and a clean workspace. We are looking for the right attitude, not necessarily experience level or abillity. We are here to mentor, teach, train and ensure success. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of professional kitchen experience, but as our name implies, we're looking for individuals who we can mentor and help to reach their full potential.
