Del Webb Bayview , located in Parrish, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Oversees and manages food preparation across kitchen stations; supervises BOH staff to ensure the consistent production of high-quality food Adheres to established control procedures for cost and quality, including food production charts, par inventories, standardized recipes, use records, and food costing sheets; ensures all recipes are followed on a consistent basis Maintains and implements daily food prep lists; prepares food orders in a timely manner to ensure proper stocking and meet demand Monitors and checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment daily; maintains and directs a quality sanitation program; assists with health department inspections Manages the ordering of all food products; monitors and receives all ordered products and supplies, ensuring proper storage, temperature, and rotation in compliance with health department regulations Conducts monthly inventory of food and other supplies; monitors budgeted food costs and assists in achieving budgetary objectives for the Food and Beverage Department; processes requisitions for supplies quickly and accurately Maintains and evaluates existing food concepts; assists in the development of new menu items and recipes Assigns duties to associates for efficient kitchen operation; trains and supervises associates in the proper preparation of menu items and operation of equipment; assists in developing ongoing training programs Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems Assists in the management of department members that may include, but are not limited to: Cooks, Lead Cook, Pantry Cook, and Stewards Incorporates safe work practices in all job performance Maintains regular and reliable attendance; performs other duties as required This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
