Job Description
Bamboo House is a new Chinese, Sushi & Hibachi restaurant opening soon in Shreveport, LA. We are hiring an experienced Sushi Chef to lead our sushi bar.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to high quality standards
- Handle raw fish safely: receiving, storage, and preparation
- Keep the sushi bar clean and organized during service
- Work efficiently during high-volume dinner rushes
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a sushi chef in a restaurant
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of fish handling and food safety
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Reliable and team-oriented We offer:
- $4,500
- $5,500 per month based on experience
- Free staff meals
- New, clean kitchen and sushi bar
