Sous Chef Batson River's is now accepting applications for Sous Chefs at our Wells location! We are a from scratch kitchen offering everything from snacks, small plates, entrees, shared dishes and desserts with emphasis on technique and quality local ingredients and a seasonally changing menu. Batson River also hosts private events and functions on occasion. Passed hors d'oeurves, decorative and thematic food stations and dessert bars help break up the monotony of kitchen work. Event offerings are also made in house and on-site with full attention to detail and fine dining approach. Sous Chef is responsible for but not limited to:

• Coordinating and delegating daily tasks and prep projects.
• Assisting in placing and receiving orders.
• Having strong knowledge of Batson River's menu
• recipes, techniques, allergies etc.
• Assist the Head Chef in preparations for all private events
• menu planning, product sourcing, prep and execution.
• Maintaining all station standards and pars for successful services.
• Closing and opening duties.
• Maintaining a positive, healthy and educational work environment.
• Demonstrating and sharing working food knowledge with all Batson River staff.
