This role is perfect for energetic food enthusiasts eager to contribute to memorable breakfast experiences. You will support the kitchen team three days a week from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm doing a variety of activities. Duties Assist in preparing a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, fruits, and baked goods, following established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices throughout all stages of meal preparation Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and ensuring timely delivery of breakfast service Help with food production for high-volume mornings, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes Clean and organize workstations regularly, following food safety management protocols to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service during busy breakfast hours Requirements Previous dietary aide or food industry experience preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly advantageous Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills for precise ingredient handling Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and safe operation of kitchen equipment Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in high-volume environments Strong understanding of food handling regulations and dietary department standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Flexibility to work mornings on a part-time schedule; enthusiasm for culinary arts and customer service is essential Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
