MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
The Swing Golf Lounge is seeking an experienced and highly organized Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading daily culinary operations. The Sous Chef will help maintain exceptional standards for food quality, consistency, sanitation, and kitchen organization while fostering a professional, collaborative, and respectful workplace. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to guide the kitchen team during both preparation and service. Key Responsibilities  Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all daily back-of-house operations  Lead kitchen preparation and service, ensuring proper execution, timing, temperature, and presentation  Supervise, train, and develop line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashing staff  Maintain consistency by enforcing recipes, portion standards, plating specifications, and quality controls  Conduct pre-service meetings and clearly communicate menu changes, specials, reservations, and operational priorities  Coordinate closely with front-of-house managers to ensure smooth, well-paced service  Inspect all food products for freshness, quality, and proper storage  Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory management, and vendor communication  Monitor food costs, waste, yields, and portion control  Maintain organized, properly labeled, and fully stocked kitchen stations  Ensure compliance with food-safety regulations, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures  Enforce proper cleaning schedules and closing procedures throughout the kitchen  Assist with menu development, recipe testing, costing, and seasonal offerings  Help manage staffing levels, schedules, attendance, and employee performance
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
