Job Description

KRIOS on Hudson, a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant on the Newburgh waterfront, is seeking an experienced and dependable Sous Chef to join our opening culinary team. We are looking for a strong culinary professional with excellent leadership skills, a solid work ethic, and the ambition to grow into a Chef position as our hospitality group continues to expand.

Responsibilities include:

Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations and service Lead and supervise the kitchen team Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Oversee food preparation, organization, and station readiness Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety Train and support kitchen staff Assist with inventory, ordering, and minimizing food waste Lead by example during high-volume service
