Job Description
Urban Restaurant Group is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead the team at Brix Tavern. Looking for candidate with a commitment to excellence, strong leadership skills and a well rounded knowledge in the culinary arts.
Culinary Arts degree and/or other culinary certification preferred.
Experience hiring, training and mentoring kitchen staff.
Understanding and ability to oversee cost control and labor management.
Effective and clear communicatorExcellent time management and organizational skills.
Creative abilities inside the kitchen.
Create and maintain an upbeat, and professional environment in the kitchen.
Hire and train new kitchen staff.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, compliant with all health department standards.
Maintain food quality standards.
Establish and maintain the appropriate staffing levels to meet or exceed budgeted labor.
Order, record and maintain all inventory stock; including food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
Minimum 2 years experience as Executive Chef.Culinary Arts degree and/or other culinary certification preferred.
