Job Description
Overview Join our team at The Eastwood Inn & Getaway Café. Two locations, side by side, with an unmatched history in the Laurel Highlands. You'll be working to assist in food preparation for The Eastwood Inn and you will also take the lead on brunch for Saturday & Sunday. You'll be the star of the show each weekend working in an open kitchen and keeping our great community well fed. Only 4 days a week, Thursday - Sunday. We are looking to reinvigorate a dynamic environment that values culinary artistry, safety, and teamwork. We will work together and build a brunch menu that fits our incredible space and kitchen. Responsibilities Work the brunch line every weekend. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while cooking and preparing food. Assist and execute direction for dinner production. Follow food safety procedures, and a regular equipment maintenance schedule. Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes for Brunch service. Manage expensive food stocks for best results. Bring your best, day in, day out. Skills Experience cooking eggs is a plus. Rounded knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients. Knowledge of food safety standards. Attention to detail and willingness to coloborate. Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and pricing. Teamwork skills for front and back of house. We have a small team that needs to work well with eachother.
