Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and possess strong leadership skills. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires a deep understanding of food management, inventory control, and the ability to manage shifts effectively. Duties Lead and supervise the kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during all shifts. Develop and design innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining high culinary standards. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests for guests. Plan and execute banquet services, ensuring exceptional presentation and service quality. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a food service environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including shift management and supervising staff. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food management systems and inventory control processes. Experience in banquet preparation and execution is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to meet organizational goals. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
