Full-Time About the Position We're looking for a Full-Time Sushi Chef to join our team at our Japanese restaurant in Cedar Park. We welcome candidates with different levels of sushi experience. Whether you're an experienced sushi chef or have some previous hands-on sushi experience, we encourage you to apply. Additional training will be provided for candidates with less experience. We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in preparing quality food. A positive attitude, teamwork, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are important to us. Responsibilities Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi menu items Prepare fish and ingredients for daily service Prepare and maintain consistent sushi rice Handle knives, fish, and other ingredients safely Set up, organize, and clean the sushi station Monitor prep and communicate product needs Follow food safety and sanitation standards Work efficiently during busy service periods Qualifications Previous sushi experience is required Experience with sushi preparation, rolls, fish handling, or sushi bar operations Open to candidates with varying levels of sushi experience Training available for candidates who need further development Dependable, punctual, and organized Willing to learn and improve Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Schedule Full-time Restaurant is closed on Mondays Weekend availability required What We Offer Additional training based on experience level Staff meals and employee discounts Supportive and respectful work environment Opportunities to develop your sushi skills Long-term position with opportunities for additional responsibility

Pay:
