The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food service, kitchen operations, and dietary support to provide exceptional meal experiences for our clients. This role involves preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety and customer satisfaction at all times. Duties Assist with menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and client preferences Prepare a variety of food items with precision, including cooking, food handling, and plating Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Serve meals to residents or guests in a professional and courteous manner Support catering events by preparing specialty dishes and managing food presentation Handle food inventory, including stocking supplies and rotating stock to ensure freshness Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions Qualifications Prior experience in dietary aide roles, culinary positions, or the food industry is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food safety practices Experience with fine dining or restaurant service is advantageous Familiarity with catering services and serving large groups is a plus Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is highly desirable This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional dining experiences while developing your culinary skills.
