We are looking for an experienced and personable Director of First Impressions to serve as the welcoming face of our office in California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a detail-oriented front-desk experience, managing incoming communications, and supporting smooth daily operations. The right candidate will bring strong customer service skills, confidence handling a busy phone environment, and a proactive approach to keeping the reception area organized and efficient.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors warmly, guide them appropriately, and maintain a detail-oriented front-desk presence throughout the day. Manage incoming calls across a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the correct contacts, and take accurate messages when needed. Serve as the first point of contact for guests, employees, and callers by providing clear information and prompt assistance. Keep the reception area tidy, presentable, and ready to support a positive visitor experience at all times. Coordinate routine front-office activities to help ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Monitor and respond to inbound communication with care, discretion, and attention to detail. Support part-time reception coverage needs while maintaining consistent service standards during assigned hours. Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role. Comfortable operating a multi-line switchboard or phone system handling several lines at once. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and callers. Proven ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while maintaining accuracy and composure. Excellent organizational skills and a dependable approach to handling daily reception tasks. Ability to work independently in a part-time, Contract assignment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
