Summary:

The Children's Attendant assists with family programs and events focusing on the care of children. He/She regulary works on Church programing days and special events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists with the children and family ministry programing and events Teaches assigned ciriculum as needed Assists with preparations for regular programing and special events Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Meet all background requirements for childcare. Desired Qualifications Experience with children Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Profess Christianity. Ability to be self-motivated and work well independently without supervision, as well as work successfully as a loyal member of a team. Knowledge and skill in operating a phone, computer, and traditional office equipment. Ability to identify problems, analyze complex information, evaluate alternatives, create action plans, and implement effective solutions. Ability to nurture and demonstrate compassion for children. Skilled in interpersonal communications and hospitality, to include demonstrating a friendly, courteous, and welcoming demeanor. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to be a good listener and cultivate interpersonal relationships in order to work collaboratively and build positive relations with pastors/staff, members and visitors. Physical Requirements Frequent periods of standing and walking around the buildings and grounds of the campus. Ability to function in high activity/noisy environments.
