Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Working closely with the Member Service Department the first impression person will serve as the first point of contact experience for all visitors. They will uphold the Credit Union's high standard of personal service by ensuring every member and prospective member is greeted and assisted with a genuine and enthusiastic demeanor. This person will work independently, performing a wide range of clerical and transactional support duties as well as assisting executive office management as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet every visitor and member who enters the lobby and direct them to the appropriate department or person while maintaining the Credit Union's security procedures. Make every effort to build rapport with regular members and visitors as appropriate. Ensure the lobby and ATM vestibule are clean, organized, and well stocked with supplies as needed. Oversee the physical security of the main entrance, welcome desk, and lobby area. Monitor and acknowledge visitors coming in and out of the main lobby entrance; to discourage potential criminal activity. Collect and distribute dropped off documents to the proper recipients in a timely manner. Perform simple transactional assistance to members, potential members and MSRs including: Providing new account paperwork to potential members New account packet preparation Statement printing and check copies. Assist in scanning and archiving documents to member's accounts. Account verification requests. Maintain knowledge of Credit Union and departmental policies and procedures. Assist the executive assistant and human resources with social planning for staff and official family functions and events. Assist the marketing department with member and community events occurring in the lobby or branch. Act as first point of contact for employment candidates by accepting resumes or providing instructions on submitting a resume. Exhibit excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multitasking skills in a friendly and professional manner with members and fellow employees. Attend all Member Service Department meetings and prepare concise meeting minutes for archiving. Work with the marketing department to monitor the approved collection boxes/literature placed in the lobby. Assist the marketing department and executive assistant with overseeing community "sales and fundraising on the "front porch" including: Providing information to book, assist in scheduling and collecting a signed Front Porch Policy & Form Monitoring the front porch to ensure guests adhere to the specifications and guidelines of approval in accordance with the policy, including conduct, duration of stay and ensures that a signed form is on file. Reporting all guest violations of the front porch policy to a member of the Executive Committee for immediate rectification or removal. Perform routine safe deposit box cleaning. Review and process AVS (Asset Verification System) and SSI (Social Security Income) reports Provide back up support to executive assistant as needed in areas of mail sorting, supply orders and vendor/repair requests.
