About the Position Breathe Gravity Spa is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Head Float Guide to join our front desk team. Our Head Float Guides are the main point of contact for clients throughout their visit and help keep the day-to-day flow of the spa running smoothly. This is a hands-on position that combines front desk responsibilities, client care, float therapy guidance, cleaning, laundry, and float room maintenance. This is not a management position. Schedule & Availability This is a variable-hour part-time position, and hours are not guaranteed. Scheduling is based on the needs of the spa and may vary significantly from month to month. You may be scheduled only a few shifts in one month and multiple shifts per week in another. Because this position is used to fill our changing scheduling needs, broad/open availability is required , including daytime, evening, weekday, and weekend availability. Additional shifts may also become available due to call-offs, time-off requests, or other coverage needs. Team members are expected to keep their weekly availability accurate and up to date so that scheduling reflects when they are actually available to work. What You'll Do Greet clients and create a warm, welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Check clients in and out accurately and efficiently. Answer phones, respond to client questions, and schedule or modify appointments. Use Meevo for scheduling, client accounts, payments, gift certificates, packages, and other front desk functions. Guide first-time and returning float clients through the float experience, including instructions, expectations, and answering questions. Prepare, clean, sanitize, and reset float rooms between every client. Perform routine float tank care and maintenance according to spa procedures, including required water checks, cleaning, and upkeep. Monitor float rooms and equipment and communicate maintenance concerns when something isn't operating properly. Process payments and accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and client accounts. Assist clients with services, packages, memberships, gift certificates, retail products, and rebooking. Complete opening, closing, and shift-specific front desk responsibilities. Complete scheduled daily and recurring spa tasks. Maintain clean, organized front desk, lobby, float, and common areas throughout the shift. Complete laundry throughout the day, including washing, drying, folding, stocking, and keeping linens moving as appointments turn over. Restock float rooms, client areas, and other supplies as needed. Support massage therapists and other team members with normal day-to-day spa needs. Communicate important client, facility, maintenance, or shift information to the appropriate team member or management. Help maintain a calm, clean, and professional environment even during busy periods. Follow spa policies, sanitation procedures, client privacy expectations, and established desk/float procedures. What We're Looking For Excellent customer service and communication skills. Dependable and punctual. Broad availability and the ability to work a variable schedule. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. Strong attention to detail. Able to prioritize when several things need attention at once. Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and other basic technology. Able to follow established procedures consistently. Comfortable performing a significant amount of cleaning and laundry as part of the position. Able to remain friendly and professional while assisting clients in a calm spa environment. Previous customer service, hospitality, front desk, or spa/wellness experience is preferred but not required. Experience with Meevo is a plus. Must be at least 18 years old. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. Head Float Guides must be able to: Stand and walk throughout a shift. Frequently bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Scrub and clean float rooms and other spa areas efficiently. Carry laundry, supplies, and other materials throughout the facility. Occasionally lift 40+ lbs. Regularly use stairs throughout the workday. Safely perform the physical cleaning and float-room maintenance required between appointments. Employee Perks Complimentary float sessions.
