Pet Resort Concierge (Front Desk - Inside Sales Representative) Dude Ranch Pet Resort in Glen Allen, VA, is seeking a dependable team member for a customer-facing position. This role is our first point of contact for new clients and the primary point of contact for current clients. Our mission is to provide the very best in professional pet care for our clients. Dude Ranch Pet Resort is an established leader in the dog daycare and boarding industry. We have built a strong reputation for quality care, safety, cleanliness, and personalized attention. Our facility is staffed 24 hours daily. We offer safe, luxurious care for all our pets. The Dude Ranch Pet Resort operates on over 45 private acres. We have won Best of Glen Allen multiple years, Super Service Awards, and are the premier provider for TV's Animal Planet. Job Duties Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage telephony Book reservations and schedule daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services Promote and sell resort services, products, and retail items Process payments and maintain accurate customer and pet records Use computers and Google Docs for scheduling and communication Safely handle, supervise, and care for dogs Support daily resort operations and maintain a clean, organized front desk Communicate professionally with clients and team members Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is social, dependable, organized, and confident working with both people and animals Customer service, sales, front desk operations experience is preferred Knowledge of dog daycare, pet boarding, and dog handling is helpful but not required Candidates with knowledge of animal behavior will receive additional consideration Candidates should be comfortable learning quickly, multitasking, and providing excellent service in a busy environment A valid driver's license and consistent access to a safe, insured, reliable vehicle are required What We Offer $14-$15 per hour after training, based on performance 30-40 hours per week Flexible scheduling with shifts between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., including weekends and holidays Paid time off Paid training Employee discount Health, dental, and vision insurance The Dude Ranch Pet Resort promotes from within and is an excellent business to start or grow a career working with animals.
