Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that delight our guests, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills within a dynamic resort setting. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and variety. Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to uphold health standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives and slicing tools, adhering to safety standards in production. Support food preparation for catering events and special functions, ensuring timely service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and serve dishes efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies. Requirements Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or dietary departments is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and slicing techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments. Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and food service operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests. Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required.
