Looking for a skilled and inspired cook to join our team preparing our exciting breakfast and lunch menu items with an emphasis on organic, local and scratch made components. Our line has only one terrific shift from 7:00 to 3:00! Must be able to work weekends. At Pangaea, we work together to create and deliver an extraordinary experience for all guests and team members. Responsible for the entire set-up and stocking of assigned station. Responsible for ensuring the freshness and the quality of all food products. Prepare menu items with speed and efficiency. Maintain a workstation that is neat, safe and clean by utilizing proper handling and storage procedures of station mise-en-place. Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that standards and regulations are followed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience on a kitchen line in a restaurant setting. Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques. Full understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to effectively teach others to improve their skills and efficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with soup development and preparation. Inventory and ordering. Knowledge of different cuisines and flavor profiles. Join our team as a Culinary Specialist and contribute to creating delicious dishes for our customers.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
