Line Cook Cafe At The Inn Benicia, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Food handling Culinary experience Food preparation Knife skills Full Job Description The Cafe is a seasonal farm-to-table breakfast and lunch hub in the heart of downtown Benicia. We take great pride in the food we serve to the guests in our community as well as the amazing team that we have! The best fit for our kitchen will be someone who has some kitchen experience, enjoys working as part of a team, and brings a positive attitude to the kitchen. We're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in the food they put out. Weekend availability is a requirement, and pay is dependent on experience. While we would prefer some kitchen experience, we're happy to train the right person. This is a great place to build culinary skills, learn new techniques, and get hands-on experience with everything from prep and line work to working with fresh ingredients from our garden and farmer's market. You'll have the opportunity to learn alongside a chef with a strong background in the food community who genuinely enjoys teaching and sharing what he knows. We're a small team, so being willing to jump in, help where needed, and have a good attitude goes a long way.
