Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations, with a commitment to maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Duties Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare ingredients and cook menu items. Assist in food preparation, including slicing and cutting ingredients using proper techniques. Cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in presentation and flavor. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Adhere to safety standards during all stages of food production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Support food service operations by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed. Skills Proven experience in food service, with at least five years working within the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and safety procedures. Skilled in food preparation techniques, including slicing and cutting methods. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. Knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance requirements. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
