We are looking for someone who has professional kitchen experience, works clean and efficiently, communicates well, and can handle a fast-paced restaurant environment. This is not a position for someone who needs constant supervision — we value people who can recognize priorities, stay organized, and take initiative. This position is mainly kitchen-focused, but team members may occasionally help at the register, take customer orders, or answer basic menu questions when needed. Responsibilities

• Food prep and portioning
• Work grill, fryer, and line stations
• Prepare fish, chicken, vegetables, salads, rice, and other menu items
• Maintain food quality and presentation
• Keep stations clean, organized, and stocked
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Communicate with the team about prep, inventory, and service needs
• Occasionally assist customers and take orders at the register Requirements
• 1+ year restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Line cook, prep cook, grill cook, or similar experience
• Good knife skills and basic kitchen knowledge
• Able to work quickly and stay organized during busy periods
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Able to work independently without constant reminders
• Comfortable communicating with coworkers and customers
• Intermediate conversational English required — perfect English is not necessary, but you must be able to understand instructions and communicate clearly
• Comfortable occasionally using the register and taking orders
• Able to stand for long periods and lift approximately 40-50 lbs
• California Food Handler Card required or willingness to obtain one We are looking for someone who is experienced, clean, fast, dependable, respectful, and able to think ahead.

Full-time or part-time availability may be considered. Weekend availability is strongly preferred.

Pay:

$20.34 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
