The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, takes pride in preparing quality food, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. At least one year of professional cooking or line cook experience is required. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation Prepare ingredients and complete food prep as needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures Keep the cooking station and kitchen clean and organized Communicate with kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation Work efficiently during busy rush hours Experience & Requirements At least one year of kitchen and/or professional cooking experience Passion for cooking and working in a kitchen Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety Ability to follow recipes and instructions Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Schedule Requirements Flexible availability preferred Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with opportunities for increases based on performance, reliability, and job proficiency.
