Position Summary As a Prep Cook at Meyhouse Commissary Kitchen, you are responsible for preparing all products as assigned, ensuring consistency, freshness, and proper timing throughout working hours and before service. This role requires strong attention to detail and respect for recipe execution. Key Responsibilities  Prepare all recipes according to Meyhouse standards  Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently  Ensure station readiness and ingredient availability  Maintain cleanliness and organization of working station and walk-in fridge  Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures  Assist with prep and closing duties as/if assigned Basic Qualifications  Previous prep experience preferred  Knowledge of Turkish and Mediterranean Cuisine is not required but preferred  Strong attention to timing, consistency, and quality  Ability to work efficiently in a structured kitchen environment  Team-oriented and dependable  Ability to speak and understand English for effective coordination Availability Requirements  Open availability is required  Must be available to work weekends and holidays  Team members are expected to work scheduled shifts as business needs require Physical Requirements  Ability to stand for extended periods  Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Benefits  Competitive hourly wage  Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees  Growth and advancement opportunities within Meyhouse Restaurant Group  Discounted employee meals  Employee dining discounts  Paid sick leave (per California law)
