Responsibilities Assist with food preparation including slicing, dicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, mixers, and cooking appliances Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Support menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily meal service and special catering events Ensure adherence to recipe specifications for consistent quality across all dishes Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep, serving times, and special dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dishes, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines Ability to take orders and manage the register Answer phone orders Experience Previous 3 years experience in dietary departments or food service settings is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or catering environments Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Skilled in knife handling techniques such as slicing and dicing with precision and safety Experience operating kitchen equipment including slicers, mixers, ovens, and fryers Knowledge of menu planning processes and recipe adherence for consistent quality Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations Familiarity with Mexican Food preparation Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional food experiences!
