Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists and participates the day-to-day activities and functions of kitchen facilities, food items preparation and production in assigned section and ensure that the standard performance is implemented and maintained according to designated task Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

Prep prioritization
- knows what needs to be prepped first based on cook times, par levels, and expected volume. Inventory awareness

- maintains designated areas for proteins, produce, sauces, prepared foods, and backup product. Clean-as-you-go habits
- keeps stations organized throughout service rather than waiting until closing. Closing organization
- makes sure food is properly stored, stations are cleaned, equipment is shut down, and prep needs are communicated for the next shift. Recipe and portion consistency
- organizes production so recipes, portions, plating, and presentation stay consistent across cooks and shifts. Rush preparation
