Not open evenings! Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items following established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food prep tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation by adhering to food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols throughout the shift Support menu planning by preparing ingredients for daily specials or catering orders Assist in food production for high-volume service periods, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to meet safety regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold our restaurant's reputation for excellence Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment, ideally with fine dining or high-volume production experience Knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, mixers, and food processors Experience with dietary aide tasks or dietary department procedures is a plus Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency across dishes Excellent teamwork skills with the flexibility to adapt during busy service hours Join us if you're passionate about creating delicious meals in a vibrant family setting!
