Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special events Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional food service to guests Uphold quality standards for food presentation and taste Skills Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within fine dining or restaurant settings Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is highly desirable Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team A passion for the food industry and commitment to continuous improvement in culinary skills
