The restaurant is currently seeking a reliable Line Cook to help us finish out our season with possible opportunity to remain part-time. Our current hours run Thurs-Sunday and some Mondays depending on our summer events and holidays. Main events and remaining holidays within the season are mandatory. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications, maintaining consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, mixers, slicers, and food processors. Follow food safety standards rigorously, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices at all times. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders. Adhere strictly to recipes to ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes across all dishes. Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by demonstrating teamwork, flexibility, and a proactive attitude toward tasks such as cleaning or restocking supplies Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens for dinner and breakfast service is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a strong asset. Proven ability to prepare a variety of meals with attention to detail in food safety management is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. Demonstrated proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. •
