Responsibilities Prepare ingredients through washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning to support smooth kitchen operations Cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by adhering to strict sanitation standards Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Follow food safety protocols for handling, storing, and serving food to prevent contamination or spoilage Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or food service environments Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across dishes Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stovetops, mixers, and slicers Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Capable of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment Previous catering or meal prep experience is advantageous for this role Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
