Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Danbury Ice Arena. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with menu specifications and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times. Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with special events and catering functions as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Culinary degree or certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Must be 18 years of age Kitchen experience Knowledge of food safety Ability to work in a medium to high/fast pace environment Function cooperatively as part of a team Takes pride in delivering excellent service Able to work independently
