Our pizzeria is looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining high standards for food quality and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and portion pizza toppings, including meats, vegetables, sauce, and cheese Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and preparation procedures consistently Properly store, label, and rotate prepared ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Properly clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate low-stock or quality concerns Assist the kitchen team with additional prep and cleaning duties as needed Work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail Qualifications Previous experience as a prep cook or in a professional kitchen Knowledge of food preparation, safe food handling, and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move kitchen supplies
