Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Assist with meal assembly, plating, and portion control to ensure consistency Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service flow Follow safety standards in production, handling food safely from preparation through serving Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or as a dietary aide in a restaurant or healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills, including slicing techniques and ingredient prep methods Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and catering is a plus A background in the food industry or culinary experience demonstrating knowledge of cooking fundamentals Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
