In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision, ensuring every dish meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating a vibrant dining experience for our guests, supporting smooth kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure attractive dishes for guests Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including slicing, dicing, and portioning using proper knife skills Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
