Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate pizza maker and line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of meal preparation and cooking techniques. As a pizza maker and line cook, you will be responsible for creating pizzas that meet our standards for quality and taste and cooking specialty dinners for our restaurant, while also ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Prepare and cook a variety of dinners for our dine in customers Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Maintain inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality in all food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Clean and sanitize workstations, cooking equipment, and utensils regularly. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality. Skills Proven experience in food service or as a cook, preferably in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of dietary aide practices and food handling regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple orders simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and serving customers effectively. Familiarity with catering processes is a plus, enhancing customer satisfaction during events.
