Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently. Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Assist in menu planning by providing input on pizza options and ingredient selections. Handle food production tasks including dough preparation, topping assembly, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; communicate needs for restocking. Follow all food safety management protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within the food industry or restaurant environment. Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation. Experience with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices. Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently in a high-volume production setting. Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering experience is advantageous.
