Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following proper handling, cleaning, and sanitation procedures Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely meal service Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as needed Follow safety standards in production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering setting is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and slicing techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, and recipe adherence Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks efficiently Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required Embark on a culinary journey that values your skills and enthusiasm! Pay:
