Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team in a full-time position. We specialize in providing high-quality school lunches, meal preparation services, and catering solutions to our clients. Typical week hours range between 6:30AM -4:00PM. Weekends hours depends on the event scheduled hours.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment. Prepare and cook dishes from the assigned station according to the recipes and guidelines provided by the Chefs. Ensure all menu items from your station are executed accurately, promptly, and to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety and emergency procedures. Ensure that all given tasks are completed daily before you leave for the day and that you communicate your departure with the Chef on duty.

Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years experience as a cook in catering services Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
