Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of pizza/kitchen preparation and techniques. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. As a Pizza Cook/Line Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas, and dishes that meet our customers' expectations. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including work surfaces and cooking utensils. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash register operations and process customer orders accurately in the POS system. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or similar roles. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Familiarity with operating cash registers and POS systems. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in cafés, grocery stores, or sales is a plus. Skills in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas are beneficial.
