You will prepare, cook, and plate menu items while keeping your station clean, stocked, and running smoothly during busy service hours. Key Responsibilities and Duties Food Preparation & Cooking Prepping ingredients by chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and mixing sauces. Cooking menu items precisely according to our recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards (grilling, frying, sautéing, or broiling). Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, and ovens. Station Maintenance & Safety Maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, cutting boards, and cooking surfaces throughout and after your shift. Following food safety and hygiene rules, including proper food labeling, date-tracking, and safe storage. Managing inventory by checking stock levels and letting management know when supplies run low. Teamwork & Communication Communicating clearly with expo, servers, and other line cooks to make sure orders go out on time. Restocking items quickly during peak rushes to keep the line prepared.

Skills and Qualifications Experience:

Experience working in a commercial kitchen or fast-paced restaurant environment.

Culinary knowledge:

Familiarity with standard cooking techniques and knife skills.

Safety awareness:

Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety regulations (ServSafe certification is a plus).

Physical stamina:

Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Reliability:

A strong team player with good time-management skills who can handle a high-pressure rush.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
