Duties Prepare dough from scratch, ensuring proper consistency and adherence to recipes Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently Assist with breakfast and morning meal preparation, including cooking and plating dishes Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Support menu planning by preparing ingredients according to specified recipes and portion sizes Handle food production tasks such as braising, grilling, poaching, and food handling with precision Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines and recipe adherence standards Qualifications Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food service, preferably in a fast-paced environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production processes Ability to work early mornings or shifts aligned with breakfast service times Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence
