Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Cook a variety of menu items with precision, demonstrating strong knife skills and food handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety protocols at all times. Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements based on guest feedback and seasonal ingredients. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations. Follow all food industry regulations related to hygiene, sanitation, and safety to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, ideally with fine dining exposure. Strong culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Skilled in menu planning, catering support, and serving in fast-paced settings. Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent knife skills and experience in food industry best practices are highly valued.
