Full Job Description Dietary Cook Job Summary:
Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of long-term care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements, ensuring adherence to nutritional standards and food safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations Assist with food ordering, receiving, and stocking, as well as maintaining inventory and supplies Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and catering services Develop and maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with residents, families, and staff members Participate in ongoing training and education to improve cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and food safety
Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move food and equipment, as well as stand for long periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
