Marina Store/Restaurant Hoosier Hills Marina and The Idle Zone Restaurant & Bar are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to add to our team! This position is a weekend position: Friday through Sunday but, can be more depending on the candidate. Weekends are the primary purpose for this role. Must be able to work over the July 4th and Labor Day Weekends. Position is planned to be seasonal but, can be a year round role for candidates with the appropriate skills and performance. however, with the right skills and performance additional opportunities exist to work in the bar, retail and possibly year round. Growth is always possible at Hoosier Hills Marina. This position is a great fit for a Student (High School or University), a homemaker looking to get out on the weekends and gain some income; a person just looking for a start in a solid organization etc. We are flexible and will train. Must be dependable, drug free and pass a background check.

Primary responsibilities:

• Work in The Idle Zone Restaurant kitchen, preparing food for our customers
• Obtain Servsafe and Serving License(applicable to those of age)
• Follow all food safety protocals
• Follow Open and/or Close Processes
• As needed:
• Great customers and run POS eventually
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred but, Students are welcome to apply
• Food Safety Certification & Servers License required (can be obtained after hiring)
• Ability to work independently
• Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude
• Dependable and high level of integrity
• Past restaurant experience is a plus
• Weekend Availability Mandatory
• Ability to follow processes and provide input on improvements
