Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning Monitor cooking times to ensure perfect crusts, toppings, and cheese melt consistency Support menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations based on customer preferences Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to uphold food safety management standards Qualifications Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques like braising, poaching, grilling, and food production Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and safe operation of kitchen equipment Experience with high-volume production environments preferred Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Excellent attention to detail in food handling and presentation standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
