Overview We are seeking a skilled Barista / Prep Cook to join our team at a vibrant bakery and coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Barista:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages
• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and coffee shop
• Assist customers with menu selection and provide recommendations
• Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service

Prep Cook:

• Wash, chop, and measure ingredients according to recipes and specific prep lists.
• Prepare menu items like sandwiches and salads, and assist with other food preparation needs.
• Keep work stations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Experience
• Previous experience in a coffee shop preferred
• Familiarity with Square POS or similar POS systems is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and practices
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently
• Basic cooking and food preparation skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules
• Strong organizational skills
