Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing traditional c-store food as well as Tex-Mex food concept, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will ensure that every meal meets our standards of excellence, delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support culinary creativity and efficiency Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to safety standards during food production and equipment operation Requirements Previous experience in convenience store food service and/or Mexican restaurant preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and catering is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not mandatory Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the food industry Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant setting where your skills make a real difference!
