Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines. Operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety regulations and sanitizing protocols. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper sanitization of surfaces and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, report shortages, and assist with food production planning. Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. Support high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially with pizza or similar cuisine preferred Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Proven skills in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely in a high-volume setting Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment Culinary experience that demonstrates knife skills, food production expertise, and attention to detail Background in dietary department or catering experience is a plus but not required.
