Morning Cook - Skilled Nursing Facility Join Our Team! We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Morning Cook to join our dietary team at a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will enjoy preparing nutritious, appealing meals while helping provide a positive dining experience for our residents. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast and other meals according to established menus and recipes. Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs, including therapeutic diets and special meal requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food-preparation area. Monitor food quality, portion sizes, temperatures, and presentation. Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and facility management. Follow all facility policies and state and federal regulations. Qualifications Previous cooking experience, preferably in a nursing home, healthcare, hospital, school, or institutional setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift or carry kitchen supplies as needed.

Schedule Morning shift:

5:00am - 1:30PM, 6am-2pm
