Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning according to established recipes and standards Assist in assembling dishes with precision, ensuring presentation aligns with quality expectations Operate various kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Cook and prepare menu items according to established recipes, cooking times, temperatures, and quality standards Maintain a clean workstation by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow Perform other related duties as needed to support the team and daily kitchen operations Skills Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment Strong knife skills and safe, efficient food preparation techniques Knowledge of recipes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures Ability to safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper hygiene standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and cleanliness Equal Opportunity Alice's Last Stop is committed to providing an inclusive workplace and considers qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or other protected characteristics under applicable law.
